Availability Update

I have scheduled an additional Longwood Thursday for this Thursday, December 10. Session fees on Longwood Thursdays are 20% off. Sessions, of course, take place at Longwood Gardens. Please contact me asap if you'd like to book one of the two remaining spots for this week.

December is now completely booked. (Sidenote: I've left room in my schedule for my Moms who will be delivering in December. So, if you've already contacted me about a December newborn session, don't worry, I've got room for you : ))

I'm now booking sessions for January 2010 and beyond.

The Happiest Baby -- Delaware Baby Photographer

One of the things I love the most about my job is well ... you ... my clients. I've joked before that my Web site must have a repellent on it that just automatically sends away non-cool people. Because, seriously, I work with THE coolest people. And after a session, we kind of feel like old friends, which is something that I just love. When an individual begins to book regular sessions, I love it because the dynamic of our sessions become so wonderfully relaxed, which makes all the difference in the world when it comes to capturing natural expressions. And when individuals hire me for my first-year baby plans, I reeeeally LOVE it because I know we're going to capture something veeery special. And because I'm going to gain new friends : )

We did our session at Longwood Gardens. It was such a beautiful, beautiful day. I absolutely love these next two. I'm just not sure if I like it better in color of b/w ...

It's my anniversary! That's right ... December 1 marked two years of business for Precious Memories by Kate. I'm completely amazed at how fast the time has gone by. It has been a time of both personal and professional growth for me ... as well as a time filled with new friends, lots of fun, and a whole stinkin' lot of lollipops.

To celebrate, I'm offering another fun contest. Creativity will definitely pay off with this one! Here are the details:

PRIZE: Free regular session for up to 5 individuals held sometime between January 1 and April 1. All of your images from the session will be beautifully displayed in an 8X8 coffee table book! ($750 value)

TO ENTER: Send me a portrait of someone (taken by YOU with a camera, cell phone, whatever) that includes the number 2 somewhere in the scene, or that in some way depicts the idea of "two". Be creative! Please send the portrait to preciousmemoriespix@gmail.com.
