More Cute Clothes!! -- Delaware Commercial Photographer

I originally planned to shoot all of the adorable clothes from the recent casting call all at just one session. But, I've been breaking them up because although I'm on the mend, I'm still only 50%. And I'm pretty much whipped after one kid. So, I knew I'd never get through a session with five little ones all at the same time. Well, not just yet anyway. And today Miss Maliya gave me a workout. We ran through Gibraltar (well, she ran, I hobbled). We blew bubbles. And we even brought in a guest model. I can't believe how grown she looks in her adorable outfit and my Grammy's pearls.

Ok ... so this first one isn't about clothes. But, it IS super cute. Look at that face!!

So, here's our guest model. She's QUITE the poser. And look at that tongue!

Happy Thursday! : )

Awesome Shirts -- Delaware Commercial Photographer

Thanks to everyone who has volunteered to help me out with the casting call. I appreciate it! And I still have one spot open ... a girls 5. If you know anyone who might be interested, please spread the word : ) The dresses that the little girl will be modeling are super, super cute!

And speaking of super-duper cute, today I spent the afternoon with two crazy boys. Crazy in a good way, of course. Their Mommy volunteered them as my models and I must say, the shirts fit them and their wild personalities just perfectly.

Yes. He really is THAT cool ...

B/W won't work for the commercial project, but I couldn't resist ...

I'm still on the mend with my back. It's a slow ... but steady ... recovery. But let me tell you ... when I found out that an ice cream truck was waiting about five houses down from where we were taking pictures, I nearly did a back flip! And I nearly did a round-off into a double back flip when the boys finished their ice cream without getting a drop on the shirts.

And being that it was a very hot day today, we ended things with some fun in the sprinklers.

I have soooo many adorable pictures from today. Way, way too many. Thanks again, Amie. I had an absolute blast with you guys.

Happy Wednesday!

Casting Call -- Delaware Child Photographer

Welcome to a very warm week! I'm in need of a few cutie pies to help me out with a commercial project. The clothes are bright, fun and just right for this warm weather. I need the following ...

Girls Size 4 -- FILLED, thanks!
Girls Size 5

Boys Size 4 -- FILLED, thanks!

Boys Size 5 -- FILLED, thanks!

You must be available for a weekday session sometime in the next week or so. I'm still moving a bit slow because of my little accident, but I'm sure we'll manage. You just have to promise not to laugh at how slow I'm walking! ; )

Please e-mail me asap with a picture of your little one if you're interested. There is no compensation for this project. You will receive a free 8X10 print of your choice and will also be able to purchase additional prints if you wish.

And since every post is better with a picture ... I'll leave you with this cute, CUTE picture from last summer. This little diva had it GOING ON!

Happy Monday!!

Lovely Newborn Photos -- Delaware Newborn Photographer

It was all going so well. We had the dress. The flowers. The adorable sleeping baby. The GORGEOUS afternoon light. Everything. Except when we arrived at our destination, I saw that something was missing. My heart dropped as I realized that the wheat that usually grows tall and dances in the sunlight was gone. Gone. Gone. But, the second I saw Kelly and Peyton out in the light, I cheered right up. I really only needed one amazing picture from this shoot. But we got tons. Tons! I don't know how I'll ever choose. And since I'm waaaay to impatient person to "save the best for last," I'm going to post my favorite shot first. Oh, so pretty. So lovely.

So ... here's a fun little contest. When I was just peeking back over at the pictures in this post, I realized that I forgot to do some editing in three of them. Oops. We'll blame it on my frazzled state of mind as I'm still stuck here with an ailing body. Three of these images have the exact same problem. Anyway, the first person to post a comment and tell me what the problem is will win a $25 Precious Memories gift card.

As for my current state of being ... well. There is progress. It's just small. But I'm determined to be back to myself soon. There's only so many episodes of Friends, Little House on the Prairie, and Sherlock Holmes that one can watch.

Happy SUNNY Thursday!

Big Blue Eyes -- Delaware Child Photographer

Day number four. I'm on the mend. But slowly. Very, very slowly. I appreciate everyone's patience with me. And since my time at the computer is quite limited at the moment (although it's easier since my Mom bought me this handy-dandy laptop holder that I can balance on my stomach while I lie here), we'll get right to the point. And the point is ... Katie Bug! Here's her cuter-than-cute preview. It's so cute! And did I already mention that she's really, really cute?

And just as a side note: I can take no credit at all for the loveliness of Miss Katie's eyes. That's just plain old how they are. Seriously.

Now ... in an effort to give fair warning to all the Moms who have been bugging me about commercial projects ... be on the lookout. I'll soon be posting some details for a casting call. I'll need two boys (sizes 4 and 5) and two girls (sizes 4 and 5). The shoot will be sometime in the next few weeks (my back willing) and will take place outdoors on a weekday. Location and other details to follow. Ok. There's the fair warning : )

Happy Tuesday!

A Little Reminder -- Delaware Photographer

I had forgotten. I promised myself that I would never, ever, ever forget. And I swore that I'd never ever go a day without doing the exercises that got me out of the chronic pain that I dealt with for years. But, somewhere along the line, the memory faded and so did my drive to do my egoscue exercises. So, it serves me right that today I'm sitting here with a full-fledged reminder of just how miserable it is to not be able to move. Thankfully, I got through my sessions on Friday. I say thankfully because it was sooooo beautiful out. I would have been insanely depressed not to be able to work with my clients. But, right now I"m feeling pretty terrible because I had to cancel a picture party today (Cyndi, I'm sooo going to make it up to you guys!), and I'm also sitting on all kinds of stuff (previews, full galleries, e-mail responses, etc.) that I just can't get to. But I will. Egoscue fixed me last time ... and it will fix me again. But meanwhile, please be patient with me. I know there are lots of people waiting ... waiting ... waiting. I haven't forgotten you!

So, here's a little sneak peek from Friday. I'll get the full previews up soon : )

These pictures are from my lesson with Shawn on Friday. We were working on portraits. Mom was our model. And I must say, she's a fabulous Audrey ...

And here's the winner of the "buy an outfit ... get a session" giveaway. She's so stinkin' cute and full of expressions. I caught about 600 different cute little looks. Can't wait to share more with you!

Ohhhhh ... and here's a sneak-peek of a lovely, lovely, peaceful, natural shoot of a little one and her Mom. I have about 8,000 amazing pictures from this session. The light was insane. My wheat was recently mowed down (rrrr), but it doesn't matter. The pictures are still gorgeous ...

Happy Sunday!
