Free Session and a Chance for $5,000 -- Delaware Child Photographer
Here it comes ... the BIG contest announcement!
That's right! You could win $5,000!!!! Here's how it works.
1. All regular and mini sessions held between now and June 21 are eligible. If you plan on having more than one session before June 21 (especially for Moms with first-year plans), each session will result in an entry.
2. The contest is for children ages 12 and under.
3. When the session is complete, I'll enter one of your images in the Baby & Child Contest, sponsored by Miller's, the photo lab I use for my wedding albums. This contest is open to Miller's customers only, which includes professional photographers only.
4. Your image will be entered in one of the following four categories: Color, Black & White/Sepia, Special Needs, or Humorous.
5. The online contest will consist of four different qualifying rounds and one final round. Each round will last for one month. Miller’s customers will be able to post entries during the first three weeks of every qualifying month and vote during the last week of the month. Sorry, but you will not be able to vote, or send your friends to vote. Only Miller's customers can participate in the voting process. In other words, only other photographers will be involved in the voting. That means we have to take some awesome pictures!
6. For each qualifying round, the top five winners will be selected from the four categories and will receive a studio sample of their winning image. These winning portraits will be entered into the Final Round, which takes place during the month of July. The Final Round will be judged online by a panel of esteemed photographers. First, Second, and Third places, as well as two Honorable Mentions, will be announced for each category! Cash prizes for these winners include $2,000 for First, $1,000 for Second, $750 for Third, and $500 for each Honorable Mention. One portrait from the Final Round will also receive the highest of accolades -- Grand Prize Winner. The cash prize will be $5,000 for this lucky winner! All cash prizes will be given to the families of the winning portraits.
This will be fun, fun, fun!!! I so hope that one of my wonderful clients is able to win something. That would make me VERY happy. And I think it might you pretty happy, too : )

FREE Mini Session for Child 12 and Under
Alright. So, what's a contest announcement without a blog contest? I've decided to give away a mini session for a child (or children) who is 12 or under. The session must be held before June 21. Of course, your session will qualify you for the above-mentioned contest. The location must be within a 2o-mile radius of Newark, DE (or, travel fees can apply for longer distances). To win, simply watch the blog. One of these days I'll slap up a post with nothing other than the word FREE. The first person to e-mail me with the word "FREE" in their subject line wins. And yes, if you win, you can choose to gift the session to someone else. And yes, you're eligible even if you recently had a session or have one scheduled for the near future. But get ready! The last time I held this contest, Holley e-mailed me within 35 seconds!!!

What's a Mini Session?
Mini sessions result in 5-7 retouched images in an online gallery, one 11X14 print, 2 5X7 prints, and 1 set of 4 wallets. Mini sessions are $200.
